Chrysalis Care have been fostering children and young people and supporting their foster carers, since 1997 and although there have been many fostering changes over the years, one thing that remains unchanged – that fostering with Chrysalis Care is always about transforming the lives of children.

Therefore, it would be remiss of us not to dedicate a whole blog to the very reason why Chrysalis Care exists – Children.

Around ten years ago, we produced a series of messages related to our investment in children – one of them proclaimed something like, “We believe in children…they deserve the best…we provide it”.  This message still rings true – our belief in children has not diminished and our efforts to build upon what we do, is always with the certainty that children deserve the best.

Each day, nearly 70,000 children live with almost 55,000 foster carers across the UK yet the need for more foster carers does not lessen – there is a shortfall of multiple thousands. We are unapologetic in our continued quest in raising awareness of this need because without a diverse pool of foster carers, we cannot provide the very best that children deserve.
