Lou and Lynda Boden: Founding Directors
Chrysalis Care was founded in 1997, making Chrysalis Care twenty five years old. Located in Bexleyheath, in the London Borough of Bexley, Chrysalis Care has a longstanding reputation as leaders in providing high quality fostering services. With more than 40 years of child care experience between them and a 15 year journey specialising in fostering vulnerable adolescents, Lynda and Lou decided to build their own independent fostering agency. The invaluable experiences Lou and Lynda gained in social work, youth and community work and as foster carers, provided them with the skills and qualities to create a time-honoured and uniquely family-orientated fostering agency.
Allé Pflaumer and Sarah Boden-de Mel: Directors
Chrysalis Care is now directed by Lynda and Lou’s daughters, Allé and Sarah, who after belonging to a family who fostered as children, have dedicated their adult lives to the wellbeing of disadvantaged children and young people. Alle is a responsible individual, qualified teacher and Play Therapist and Sarah is a qualified Social Worker and Agency decision maker.
Chrysalis Care are unwavering in the ethos of transforming the lives of children and young people and fostering families alike and that at the heart of the organisation, is ensuring the best possible care is provided.
